one of the most beautiful things in life...
is the bond that exists
between humans and animals...
yet one of the most horrific things
is when someone breaks that bond
through abuse
through the clothes they wear
the food on their table
and the choices they make everyday.
through simple ignorance of their actions
making themselves numb to the fact
that they are consuming/wearing
the corpse of animal
without a second thought.

Help keep that bond strong.

 For the record. i do not agree with keeping small animals in cages. i got chester 3 years ago from a rather abusive little 6 year old and now he lives outside in a big hutch for half of the year, but after he dies, i'm never getting another small animal. Keeping something so beautiful in a little cage just isn't right.

"The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them. That's the essence of inhumanity."
-George Bernard Shaw

Don't tell me it's different because it's a cow/pig/chicken whatever and they aren't pets. We look down on chinese for eating dogs, the Indians look down on us for eating cows. It's all relative. It all looks the same in a box. It's still murder. It still isn't right.

PS. i know the tank top/bra straps kinda screw up the picture, but hey, i don't need the DA admin after me again.

I'm not going to make any comments about my own beliefs towards the things you just said, but that is a very adorable animal.

I like this photograph a lot. it is a very warming photo.... the description kind of takes away from it though. I'm going with psychogizmo on that.

i absolutely adore bunnies!

Why are you walking like you just had anal sex with a two by four?
:iconfacade-of-life:

anyways, i totally agree with you on the description.

It takes a small person to beat a defenseless animal... but it takes an even smaller person to eat that animal. ---> free me <---
